The 4th China Pesticide Export Analysis Workshop, co-sponsored by AgroPages and China Association of Pesticide Development and Application (CAPDA), is going to be held in Xiamen, China, on December 15, 2016. The workshop will focus on issues of export to the Southeast Asian market.
As the world’s prime pesticide export country, in 2015, China’s total export volume of pesticide reached 1.5095 million tons amounting to $7.283 billion. The territory of trade covered more than 180 countries across the globe, of which Asian market, especially Southeast Asian market, remained to be the largest destination of China’s export. The total export volume reached 520,500 tons accounting for 35% of China’s total export, while export value reached $2.345 billion accounting for 32% of China’s total export value.
To allow Chinese enterprises to better understand the importance of Southeast Asian market, so as to formulate proper export strategy, AgroPages is prepared to invite Pop Pibanthan, the General Manager of AIM AGRODA to give a presentation on the rice-growing and pesticide applications in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia and Malaysia.
Also at the workshop, officials from Chinese ICAMA will give an introduction to Chinese pesticide import and export business status and governing policies. A number of Chinese agrochemical exporters will share their practical working experiences in Southeast Asian market.
Participants in the workshop include general managers, marketing managers and product registration managers. As a professional information and data service provider, AgroPages will share information with its readers on the changes in China’s agrochemical export business in recent years, and will give an analysis on the export tendency to major countries to enable industry practitioners to understand the existing competition and to find new opportunities of export.
